PORTFOLIO

Video Editing

I transform raw footage into stories that connect. For more than a decade I've cut long-form YouTube entertainment — shaping pacing, comedic timing, sound, graphics, and structure so an audience stays through the last frame.

Today I edit for ZATV across four of their channels, and I run my own YouTube channel with an audience of over 110,000.

EDITOR | JULY 2023 - PRESENT

Long-form entertainment editing across four channels — each with its own rhythm, cast dynamic, and graphics language. More than eight of the episodes I've cut have passed a million views.

EDITING SINCE JULY

People Vs. Food

LEAD EDITOR

Taste-test reactions cut for punchlines — tight trims, clean cross-talk, and callback structure across a 20-minute runtime.

React & Teens React

LEAD EDITOR

Fast-paced grid cuts and reveal timing, with graphics beats that land on the reaction rather than after it.

Bullseye

LEAD EDITOR

Game-format editing — stakes, scorekeeping, and momentum held across rounds without losing the comedy.

Passion Projects

EDITOR & CREATOR · 2010 — PRESENT

I started editing when I was twelve, after talking my dad into going halfsies with me on a copy of Sony Vegas Pro. What started with fan edits turned into 16+ years of editing, and it's still where I have the most fun experimenting with music, pacing, and storytelling.

Everything on the channel is edited by me, from choosing the footage and music to the final cut, color grading, sound, and thumbnail.

YEARS EDITING

Editing for the love of it.

I started making these videos long before editing became part of my career. They're still some of my favorite projects because I can follow an idea, a character, or a song and see where it takes me.

Audience Favorite

One of my most-viewed edits, with more than one million views. This one was all about capturing the feeling of Ravenclaw through the right mix of dialogue, music, and moments from the films.

Character Study

A character study of Draco Malfoy set to "Trauma" by NF. I pulled moments from across the films to tell his story through the pressure, fear, isolation, and expectations that shape his character and journey.

Visual Storytelling

A darker, more cinematic edit of Hannibal set to "Running Up That Hill." I focused on visual parallels, tension, and finding the moments that hit naturally with the music.

How I edit

I always start with the story. From there, I tighten the pacing, build out the music and sound, and add graphics where they actually help the edit.

01

STORY

I start with a rough cut and figure out the moments that actually need to be there.

02

PACING

Then I tighten. I cut pauses, reactions, or anything else that slows the video down without adding something.

03

SOUND & MUSIC

Music is a huge part of how I edit. I clean up dialogue, balance the sound, and use music to help drive the pacing and emotion.

04

GRAPHICS & POLISH

Once the cut is working, I finish it out with titles, motion graphics, color, sound, and any final cleanup in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
